Arranged around an area of indigenous parkland, the Garden Houses at Martinhal Sagres are substantial semi-detached villas set within the perimeter of a large walled garden. The living spaces are all about comfortable luxury: function and form in harmony with elegance and sophistication. British furniture and interiors designer Michael Sodeau has triumphed with a combination of furnishings that are practical but stylish. Natural materials have been used throughout: timber, wicker and cork, and local stone.

The effect is homely and organic. Private verandas overlook a central feature of the garden – the Oasis Pool, a heated free-form swimming pool. The views also take in the surroundings of the resort and the countryside of the unspoiled western Algarve.

The 2-bedroom Garden Houses offer nicely designed interiors with a fully fitted kitchen and an open space living room that leads to a well-equipped terrace with access to the beautiful indigenous garden and a fun free-form pool in the center of the resort. The double room with en suite bathroom with shower, a twin room and one bathroom with bath are located on the first floor and some houses have an exterior roof terrace to enjoy the views.

3 Bedroom Garden Houses

This spacious 3-bedroom houses are perfect for those looking for a bedroom on the same level of the living spaces. The stylish lower floor comprises a fully equipped kitchen, open space living room and dining area with sliding doors towards a terrace, which leads you to the natural garden and pool area. There is also a twin room with garden view and a bathroom with shower.

The other two rooms are located on the first floor – a double room with en suite bathroom with shower, a twin room and 1 bathroom with bath. Some houses have an exterior roof terrace to enjoy the views.
