Did you know sustainability is central to our ethos? Even prior to opening our first resort in Sagres in 2010, we have been mindful of the environment, putting efforts into the master-planning stage itself to ensure that we were taking steps for a sustainable development. Since then, we have been consistently working hard to integrate further sustainable practices across our hotels.
The Martinhal Group is proud to present United Lisbon International School, a project developed by the Martinhal owners, Chitra and Roman Stern.
As a new international school in close proximity to the Park of Nations, United Lisbon opened its doors in September 2020, with over 530 students of 45 nationalities and offers leading academic programs starting from Early Childhood (age 3) to high school graduation (Grade 12). The school follows the American Common Core standards and students graduate with the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma. United Lisbon sets a new benchmark for modern and holistic education, fit for the 21st century. Students experience innovative learning and acquire skills and competencies to succeed in a fast-changing world.
